On Day 1 we’ll share with business owners everything they need to know to navigate the wondrous and overwhelming world of Social Media Marketing.

On Day 2 we’ll bring together local creatives to help them provide the right service for the right people.

Each will wrap up with taking photos and video, and actually writing posts because what else would you do at a Content Camp if not create content?

About Us

After yet another consultation with a prospective client that had no idea what Social Media Management Services cost, Content Camp was conceived. These business owners were ready to level up with a brand redesign, new website, and social media management but didn’t know what they would be paying for, let alone know what kind of budget they should have to work with.


This is a problem and we want to solve it. Our goal is to educate business owners on the Social Media Marketing industry and show them the services they could use to grow their business, how much it could cost, and how they can save for it.


The Experience

The event is hosted by our favorite people, Thrive Coworking for Women, in the heart of downtown Gilbert, Arizona.


Our Camp Counselors will be on site to help with hands on training and for content creation sessions during the camp.

We’ll have more details to come with local food & coffee vendors, event sponsors, and panel speakers. 




Once registered for the event, attendees are invited to join our Pop-Up Private Facebook Group to connect with each other and ask the questions you would like answered at the event.

What to invest in

If you’re so new to social media marketing that you have never posted an Instagram Story before, you probably don’t know exactly what you’re paying for or what to expect when you hire an agency or a social media manager.

In our first session ,we’ll cover everything that a social media manager can deliver so you can make great hiring decisions or simply know what you need to learn if you’re handling your own social media for your business.

Budgeting for social media marketing

Now that you know what you should be investing in, let’s find the money shall we? Marie Forleo declares everything is figureoutable, and HALLELUJAH, we believe her.

We’ll break down ways you can budget for social media marketing and how your money can be best spent to get you closer to your goals.

Session three | 1:00 pm

Planning a brand content shoot

That’s it. You’re convinced. You’re going to book a photoshoot for your business.

Wait- who should you hire? Should you just hire the lady that does your family photos or that took your wedding photos? What kind of images should you ask for? What should you wear? How many photos do you need?

Did you just freak out and cancel the photoshoot in your head because you hate getting your picture taken anyway?

Deep breath.

We’ll review how to create a shot list, a visual guide, how to gather props & choose your wardrobe, all by thinking ahead to how you’ll use all the content created at the shoot.

Hands on content creation

Here’s why you’re really here.

Campers will be pulling out their iPhones and get real-time practice creating their social strategy, writing copy in their brand voice, and creating content on a new social platform with our Camp Counselors help.

Declaring Your Niche

Harness your eye rolls, please. We’re tackling niches in a different way.

We’ll talk about your top 20% clients, your superpower service, and your niche outcome. Once you lead with these in your messaging, you can start doing the work that makes you wake up before your alarm on Monday morning, instead of working until after midnight for the third day in a row cursing your client’s name.

Pricing strategies

Let’s talk about money (hooray!) and the different ways you can structure compensation from clients.

We’ll dive into documenting the scope of work you provide, and how to ensure you are always charging your clients enough to build a sustainable, profitable business.

Session three | 1:00 pm

Building relationships

From referral programs to networking and finding business besties you can share clients with, building relationships just makes business better. Man, that’s a lot of B’s.

Discover ways to find “your people” and cultivate valuable relationships for your business.

Session four | 2:00 pm

Creating social proof

Be honest. Are you a photographer that hasn’t updated their headshot in two and a half years? Or a social media manager that never works on their own content? Or a web designer that hates their website and has been “updating it” for the last 18 months?

We’re gonna have a come to Jesus about the importance of providing social proof  for your potential clients. From case studies to testimonials, to growing your social following and content, to building an email list—let’s get you in a place that helps you be just as proud of your own digital presence as your clients will be.

3:00 pm

Profile Revamp

Now that you know how to create content yourself, we’re gonna help you with the fancy stuff.

Our Camp Counselors will provide you with new professional headshots, a mini video for social, and a copywriting guide for social media bios. All your content will be delivered in a Google Drive for you to download and share on social with handy instructions to guide you through it.
